Celebrated The Whitaker’s Cover and Boston Common Magazine’s Success
Boston, MA (February 5, 2008) – Boston Common magazine celebrated their 2nd Anniversary with the Early Spring issue cover stars Forest and Keisha Whitaker and Niche Media CEO Jason Binn on Friday, February 1, 2008 at Mantra restaurant in Boston.
The Whitakers, who met in Boston, arrived at Mantra in a Bentley then proceeded to the VIP lounge where they enjoyed cheese and olives while sipping Veuve Clicquot. After toasting Niche Media’s Boston- based publication with Binn, Keisha took over the DJ booth which ignited the dance floor with swarms of guests. It wasn’t long though until the talented guest DJ handed over her headphones in order to join her husband, Forest, on the dance floor. Party goers, who indulged in specialty Starbucks Liqueur cocktails, saw the Boston Common cover couple come to life as they glided across the room together.
The happy pair tells Boston Common magazine that they don’t know if there is a secret to keeping their family strong but say, “When you’ve been in a relationship as long as we have, you either continue to grow or you stop growing. I think we’ve turned that corner… we make the effort.”
